To help make education data and statistics easier to absorb, the Oklahoma Department of Education has launched a new online resource for the public. It is called the Oklahoma Public Schools: Fast Facts, 2015-2016. It is 32 pages of graphs and information on education topics such as enrollment, student demographics, academic achievement and more.
“The State Department of Education is committed to transparency, but the sheer volume of information we gather and report can make translating it to the public a challenge,” said Department of Education Communications Executive Director Steffie Corcoran. “We’re excited to share Fast Facts with anyone interested in receiving essential public education information in a convenient format.”
