The Yes on 792 campaign to modernize Oklahoma wine and beer laws now claims to have supporters in all 77 counties. The organization said it reached the milestone after the Craft Brewers Association announced it was supporting the approval of the State Question.
“Oklahomans from the Panhandle to Little Dixie and from Tulsa to Tishomingo realize that it’s time to move Oklahoma forward,” said campaign spokesman Alex Weintz. “Consumers and business owners have been asking for modern beer and wine laws, and they have the chance to help make it a reality.”
SQ 792, if approved by voters in November, would create a system for strong beer and wine to be sold in grocery and convenience stores.
