Senator Ervin Yen’s bill to make it harder for parents to “opt-out” of vaccinations for their children was amended and passed by the Senate Health and Human Services Committee on Monday. The Tulsa World‘s Barbara Hoberock writes the controversial Senate Bill 83 now allows for religious and personal exemptions, but parents must watch a video before they can refuse the immunizations for their children.
