Revenue Talks Break Down on Thursday

Legislative leaders from both sides of the aisle were behind closed doors on Thursday trying to hash out a way to raise revenues for the next fiscal year’s budget while patching a nearly $900 million gap. The Oklahoman‘s Dale Denwalt writes because those negotiations are behind closed doors, there is no way to tell what is really on the table. However, it seems the gross production tax is a breaking point between Republicans and Democrats.
