Budget Agreement Could Be Close

In a signal that lawmakers are closing in on a budget agreement, House members were sent an email Tuesday advising that they should plan on being back in the Chamber on Monday. The Tulsa World’s Barbara Hoberock writes while no agreement has been reached, it appears negotiators are making some kind of progress to patch a $215 million budget hole created by an unconstitutional cigarette fee passed during the regular session.
