President Trump released his “America First” National Security Strategy on Monday, and it has the support of U.S. Senator Jim Inhofe. The strategy takes the stance that the United States has entered a new era of competition with China and Russia. It also focuses on securing the border and other homeland security measures.
Inhofe likes the way forward Trump has chartered for the country’s defense stance.
“President Trump’s bold national security strategy leaves little question that he is charting a new course for American foreign policy, leaving behind the failed policies of President Obama. His strategy puts American leadership at the forefront of our security and economic growth and I look forward to working with him on these initiatives. With the president’s clear commitment to protecting the homeland, promoting American prosperity, defending human rights and advancing peace through strength, the United States will once again be the unquestioned leader of the free world,” said Inhofe.
