Thursday’s House Special Investigative Committee hearing was abruptly cancelled because the Health Department filed a “cause of action” to get more time for the agency’s chief financial officer Mike Romero to prepare documents for the Committee. NonDoc’s William Savage III writes Committee Chairman Josh Cockroft subpoenaed Romero on January 2 for the January 4 hearing. The Health Department contends that was not enough time to prepare.
