U.S. Senator James Lankford is applauding the Senate for putting a Financial Services and General Government Appropriations Bill through the full appropriations process. He also touts the benefits the bill could have in the State of Oklahoma, if passed by Congress and signed by the President.
Lankford points out that the Financial Services and General Government Appropriations Bill usually gets lumped into a giant omnibus funding bill, instead of its own hearings. Oklahoma’s junior Senator believes this process will help enable programs to protect taxpayers and provide fund to fight terrorism on the financial front.
