State Health Board Drops Controversial Regulations on Medical Marijuana

With no public discussion, the Oklahoma State Board of Health amended its recently passed medical marijuana regulations to drop the requirement of a pharmacist on duty at dispensaries, a ban on the sale of smokable cannabis, and other regulations which were seen as overstepping its authority. The Tulsa World’s Samantha Vicent and Mitchell Willetts write the move puts the regulatory ball back into the Legislature’s court.
