Oklahoma Department of Correction Director Joe Allbaugh says the Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES) got its figures wrong in a July 31 report on the cost aversion due to State Questions 780 and 781, voter approved criminal justice reforms. The Tulsa World’s Barbara Hoberock writes Allbaugh wrote a letter to Governor Fallin outlining the reasons why OMES’ estimate “drastically overstates the averted costs.”
