More Negative Campaign Ads Expected as Runoff Election Gets Closer

As the August 28 primary runoff election draws closer, expect to see more negative political ads. The Tulsa World’s Randy Krehbiel writes tight races seem to draw more negative advertising, and the practice will likely continue because political consultants believe the it works to influence voters. However, negative campaigning has been a part of American politics since our country was established.
