Oklahoma Capitol Needs New Copper Roof

Providing an update to its progress on the rehabilitation of the Oklahoma Capitol building, the contractor said the building’s copper roof will need to be replaced. The Oklahoman’s Dale Denwalt writes while it will be $9.3 million to replace the 45,000 square feet of roof, the restoration plan had built in funds for this kind of issue.

The restoration is expected to be complete in 2022.
