The Oklahoma Veterans Commission is holding a special meeting Tuesday morning to address the recent state audit which described leadership as toxic and leading to low morale at the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs. The Oklahoman’s Justin Wingerter writes OK Veterans Affairs Executive Director Doug Elliott believes the meeting is an opportunity for him to explain the audit’s findings to the Commission, while critics are hoping it leads to Elliott’s firing.
