McDaniel Gets Early Start at Treasurer’s Office

Oklahoma State Treasurer Randy McDaniel is getting an early start in office. He took the oath of office Wednesday to fill the spot left vacant by former Treasurer Ken Miller’s resignation effective January 1, 2019. Governor Fallin appointed the former legislator to serve out the final weeks of Miller’s term.

“Serving Oklahoma is an honor and privilege,” said McDaniel. “I want to thank my family and fellow Oklahomans for their support, Treasurer Miller and staff for facilitating a smooth transition, and the governor for the appointment. The core duties of the office will be performed without interruption as we prepare for a strong and prosperous future.”

McDaniel will be sworn in on January 14th to his full four year term.
