The Oklahoma Association of Realtors (OAR) has hired former Oklahoma House member Josh Cockroft to be its next Senior Director of Government Affairs. The organization also hired former Cornett for Governor Campaign Communications Director Will Gattenby to fill the role of Senior Director of Membership and Communications.
“The Oklahoma Association of REALTORS® is committed to having the most experienced and professional team in place to help further serve Oklahoma REALTORS® through advocacy and education,” OAR President Lisa Weaver said. “We continue to grow and add knowledgeable and skilled professionals to our team which enables us to be a united voice and first source of information, expertise and advocacy for all who practice real estate in our state.”
Cockroft served in the Legislature from 2010 to 2018 as the Representative for House District 27.
Gattenby has worked in several areas of communications including press secretary for the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office and account services coordinator for Sagac Public Affairs.
