Lankford Wants IRS to Team Up With Census

U.S. Senator James Lankford would like to see the IRS and the Census work together in 2030. It is too late for anything like that to happen for the 2020 Census, however, during Tuesday’s Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee hearing, Lankford asked Census officials about the viability of combining efforts to help get a more accurate count through tax filings.

Lankford also asked about security measures around the upcoming Census.
