Attorney General Mike Hunter and Tribal Leaders are set to meet in Shawnee on October 28 to discuss the renewal provisions in the gaming compacts. The Oklahoman’s Randy Ellis met with five tribal leaders to find their views on how the compact negotiations will unfold.
The leaders seem cautiously optimistic the state and tribal governments can find a way forward without having to go to the courts.
