GOP Hopefuls Trying to Break Through in Corp Comm Runoff

Senator Kim David and former Representative Todd Thomsen are trying to break through to voters who might not know what a Corporation Commissioner is ahead of the August 23rd primary runoff.

Tulsa World’s Randy Krehbiel writes both have worked on utility based issues during their time in the Legislature.

The current Corporation Commission recently approved a program using bonds to help pay for fuel expenses during the February 2021 deep freeze, but it is costing more than was expected.

The winner of the runoff will face a Democrat and Independent in the General Election.
