Drummond Raises $1.6 Million for Governor’s Race Campaign

Donors are showing their support of Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond’s bid for Oklahoma Governor in 2026 by giving $1.6 million dollars to the campaign in the first quarter of 2025. The Drummond campaign says that is the biggest fundraising total ever for a non-incumbent in an Oklahoma gubernatorial primary.

“Oklahomans want a fighter who will stand up for our values and stand with President Trump to protect our freedoms, secure the border and deport illegal immigrants who endanger our communities,” said Drummond. “That’s what I’ve done as Attorney General, and it’s what I’ll do as Governor. I am running to serve the People of Oklahoma—not the political elite.”

So far, four candidates have filed campaigns for the governor’s race with the Oklahoma Ethics Commission. They include Drummond, former Oklahoma House Speaker Charles McCall, former Oklahoma Senator Mike Mazzei, and former city manager Leisa Mitchell Haynes.

Candidates are expected to file their first quarter 2025 campaign fundraising reports to the Ethics Commission by April 30th.

Drummond’s campaign also has benefited from funds rolled over from his Attorney General campaign account. That gives him more than $2.3 million for the governor’s race so far.

“With this record-breaking support, we have the momentum and ability to take our message to all 77 counties—and bring strong, conservative leadership to Oklahoma,” said Drummond. “And we’re just getting started.”
