Echols Raises Nearly Half Million in First Month of AG Campaign

It has been a little over a month since former Oklahoma House Majority Floor Leader Jon Echols declared his candidacy for Oklahoma Attorney General, and his campaign has brought in nearly a half million dollars in that time.

Echols’ campaign reports raising $489,871.19 in cash with another $160,662,26 rolled over from his House of Representatives campaign account. That totals $650,533.45 overall in the campaign war chest.

“Jon’s message of standing for the rule of law and working for everyday Oklahomans, combined with his proven track record of leadership in the State House, is resonating across the state. That has led to this tremendous fundraising haul and the endorsement of 18 sheriffs across the state so far,” said Echols’ campaign manager Isaac Hadam.

So far, Echols is the only publicly declared candidate for Attorney General. Of course, he’s running for the Republican nomination in the race.
