U.S. Supreme Court Hears St. Isidore Charter School Case

Oklahoma’s legal contest over a Catholic-run, public virtual charter school was on full display before the Justices of the U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday. Justice Amy Coney Barrett recused herself from hearing the case.

The Okahoman’s Murray Evans writes the conservative justices seemed sympathetic to arguments made in support of the St. Isidore of Seville Catholic Virtual School.

This case has put Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt and Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond at odds. Stitt supports the establishment of St. Isidore, while Drummond says it is unconstitutional.
