The Oklahoma City Firefighters Association is throwing its support behind Attorney General Gentner Drummond’s bid to be Oklahoma’s next governor.
“We’re proud to endorse Gentner Drummond for Governor because he’s always stood shoulder to shoulder with Oklahoma’s firefighters,” said Cameron Weems, President of the Oklahoma City Firefighters Association. “He understands the risks we take and the challenges we face, and he has a consistent record of fighting for the tools, protections, and respect first responders need to do their jobs.”
The OKC Firefighters Association is one of the growing list of public safety associations endorsing Drummond’s campaign.
“I’m honored to have the endorsement of the Oklahoma City Firefighters Association,” said Drummond. “Our firefighters are the backbone of emergency response in Oklahoma—putting their lives on the line to protect others. As Governor, I will always be a fierce advocate for them. They deserve more than our gratitude—they deserve real support, real resources, and real leadership.”
