Oil & Gas Workers Association Endorses Echols for AG

A national oil and gas workers group has endorsed Jon Echols in the race for Oklahoma Attorney General.

The Oil & Gas Workers Association announced its endorsement this week, citing Echols’ legislative experience and support from law enforcement leaders across the state.

“The oil and gas industry is critical to our amazing state,” Echols said. “I am thankful for the endorsement of a great conservative grassroots organization like the OGWA. I appreciate all the amazing work they do and look forward to standing strong with the amazing men and women who work every day to keep Oklahoma and the nation powered.”

The Oil & Gas Workers Association describes itself as a conservative grassroots trade organization focused on protecting American energy jobs and supporting workers in the oil and gas industry.

In announcing the endorsement, the group said Echols has taken time to listen to workers and address issues affecting Oklahoma families.

“Jon Echols understands the issues that are hurting hardworking Oklahoma families,” the organization said in a statement. “Jon takes time to talk with us ‘average Joe’ people, hears our concerns, and finds a way to address them. Jon has the endorsement of most Oklahoma sheriffs, and we agree with them.”
