Boatman Announces Run for House District 67

Jeff Boatman, Tulsa resident and successful business owner, announced his candidacy for the Oklahoma House of Representatives on Monday. He will run as a Republican for the District 67. The seat is currently held by fellow Republican Scott McEachin who won the office in 2016.

Boatman is the co-founder of Global Holdings, where he is the Chief Technology Officer and a managing partner. Currently providing employment for more than 150 Tulsa residents, Global Holdings has served millions of consumers nationwide by delivering quality financial products.

Over the past 30 years, Boatman has worked in the telecommunications, accounting and information technology industries. During that time, he has gained real world skills, and he is ready to go to the Oklahoma Capitol to get results.

“I look forward to representing District 67 and focusing on important issues like improving the education system through teacher pay raises,” Boatman said. “I am open to all good ideas, no matter which party brings them to the table.”

After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Tulsa, Boatman went on to receive a Master’s degree in Christian Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Boatman volunteers his time as a counselor at Southwood Baptist Church, where he also serves as a deacon and teacher.

Boatman has been married to his wife Angie since 1990. They have two grown biological children, Keli and Joshua. Keli works in marketing and development and is a foster mom to four children, while Joshua is studying audio engineering at Belmont University in Nashville.

The Boatmans also are guardians to 19-year-old Nicole, and they recently began fostering a 14-year- old boy.
