Governor Kevin Stitt is tasking his cabinet members to report on what led to issues with resources not being used by the Oklahoma Forestry Service during wildfire outbreaks in March. State Forester Mark Goeller has resigned at Stitt’s request.

Stitt says that the Secretary of Agriculture and the Emergency Management Director found that only half of the available resources to help local firefighters were used.
