Tulsa FirePAC has endorsed T.W. Shannon in the Republican race for Oklahoma lieutenant governor.
Shannon announced the endorsement Thursday, calling it a sign of support from first responders and public safety officials.
“I’m honored to have the support of Tulsa firefighters,” Shannon said. “These men and women put their lives on the line every day to protect Oklahoma families.”
Shannon, a former Oklahoma House speaker and community banker, has campaigned on support for law enforcement, first responders and conservative policies.
Tulsa FirePAC President Matt Lay said Shannon has consistently supported firefighters and first responders throughout his public and private sector career.
The endorsement adds to a growing list of public safety and conservative support for Shannon’s campaign.
