End of Session

The 60th Oklahoma Legislature ended its second regular session on Thursday. The Senate tried to work through a flurry of bills, resolutions, and veto overrides facing procedural hurdles from the Freedom Caucus. The House mostly waiting for action to return from the Senate on its final day.

Tulsa World Randy Krehbiel writes that several issues were left on the table including removing Medicare expansion from the state constitution, regulations for wind farms, and setting up a vote asking voters to reform the Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust.
